As a girl I grew up with cats and loved them dearly, however, when my son was only 2 years old I found he had a severe allergy to cats. Needless to say, I haven't been able to have one during my married life, until I read about Siberian cats. I found Mickey and her cattery, brought my son now 20 years old over to "test" out what I had read about them being hypoallergenic. Mickey was wonderful with all her cats and kittens. I could tell she was the type of breeder I was looking for. After 24 hours my son showed no signs of a "full blown" allergy attack. I was lucky enough to be able to buy one of MicKaryn Kats kittens. My little "Bogie" is the most loveable kitten.She is very selective as to what type of home her kittens go to and I feel very fortunate to have one. The best part of the transaction was that if for any reason it didn't work out...she would take him
back. That was my concern with my sons past allergies, however, we've been very lucky that he's not allergic! I highly recommend this cattery.

We purchased our first Siberian kitten 2 1/2 months ago now from MicKaryn Kats Cattery, and we could not be happier with both our new kitten and dealing with Mickey and Karyn at MicKaryn. Mickey, whom we dealt with mostly, was incredibly warm and welcoming to us. Our family visited their Cattery on several occasions to both meet the kittens and for me to do an allergy test since I was the one with allergies to cats. We had nothing but positive experiences, and we now happily own "Maddie" a female born in July 07. They truly run a Cattery how I hoped it would be. The cats and kittens are so loved, and kept as part of their family, which for them, includes dogs as well. I think because of this, our kitten is so well-adjusted and absolutely LOVES people. She loves to be around us all the time... whether my boys are tubbing in the bath (Maddie sits on the edge and watches), or we are hanging out watching TV, Maddie loves to be a part of the mix. She is truly a family cat. We are so thrilled with her personality and adjustment to us. I believe that is directly attributed to the way she was raised and loved in the cattery. Mickey has been just wonderful to deal with, and we have remained in touch. She is thrilled to hear updates about our kitten, and that, to me, is a testimony of her true love and genuine caring for all of her cats and kittens. I would recommend them and this Cattery to anyone, without any hesitation, and I hope to maintain a long relationship with them. We thank them for the "gift" of our kitten to our family, she has already found a place deep within all of our hearts. She has exceeded our expectations of what having a cat would be.
